What Do You Want To Know About The Best Version Of The 2018 Ford Mustang GT?

 

We got to spend a few hours with the 2018 Ford Mustang in November. Now we’ve got one all to ourselves for a whole week in an awesome spec: 5.0 V8, six-speed manual, and every performance option you can tick from the factory.
I’ve got a few specific tests in mind to put this car through before I’m done with it, but now’s your chance to ask your own questions for me to answer here and think about while I’m writing up reviews!

Our car’s a GT Premium, which means it’s got the Ti-VCT V8 rated at 460 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque plus heated seats, drive modes and a more advanced infotainment system. This model in particular has been optioned up with the GT Performance Package adding bigger wheels, Brembo six-piston front brake calipers, extra gauges for fun, upgraded front springs, extra chassis bracing, a bigger radiator, unique traction control settings, a Torsen differential with a 3.73 axle ratio and a few other decorative bits for about $4,000.
In addition to that, the car is fitted with optional MagneRide adaptive suspension off the GT350, worth about $1,700, and an active exhaust system that gets louder in the Sport modes.
This version of the car starts at around $39,000, and all those options get the price close to $47,000.
I’ve only spent a few minutes in the car so far, and am reserving judgement while I recalibrate my brain from the Land Cruiser I spent the last week in. All I can tell you so far is that the two are basically nothing alike.
